Commercial oven cleaning in East Cambridgeshire
From £150, then quoted per job, because a village hall cooker and a pub range are different days' work. Worked out of hours, around your closed day or before you open.
Get a price for yoursThe short answer
How much does commercial kitchen cleaning cost? Commercial kitchens start at £150 and are then priced per job from what is actually in the room, with the number fixed before anybody turns up. Canopies, filters and the appliances themselves are all in scope, and an invoice with dated photographs of the equipment is available for your due diligence file.
What it costs
Cafes, pubs, village halls and school kitchens across the same patch, with travel free inside 12 miles of Burwell. Tell us the make and your village and the price comes back fixed in writing, not as an estimate.
From £150, then quoted per job
Tell us what is in the kitchen and you get a fixed number back before anyone turns up.
What it costs above that starting figure comes from what is in the room rather than from a rate card, because no two of these kitchens hold the same equipment. List what you have when you get in touch and we come back for photographs if we need them. The number is fixed and in writing before a date is agreed.
What a quote covers
- Every appliance you list, priced before the day
- Canopy, filters and grease trap where they are part of the job
- Out of hours working at no premium
- An invoice, and dated photographs for the file if you want them
- No deposit
- Pay when the work is finished
- Free to move or cancel a date
What comes apart in a commercial kitchen
- Oven doors, racks, runners and shelves
- Burner caps, crowns and the cast iron top on a commercial range
- Canopy filters, out and into a soak
- The grease trap behind the filters
A commercial kitchen is the same work as a domestic one with more of it and less time to do it in, so it gets done cold and empty. Canopies, filters and the appliances themselves are ours. Ductwork deep cleaning to the TR19 standard is a specialist trade with its own certification, and your insurer will want that certificate from whoever does it.
What a wipe down at close cannot reach
- Inside the canopy filters, which need a soak rather than a wipe
- The grease trap behind them, which is the part that catches fire
- Behind and under the range, where it collects out of sight
What we take on
Small commercial kitchens, the kind that have one cooker and no maintenance contract. Every one is quoted from what is actually in the room.
- Village and church halls
- Usually one domestic sized range and a canopy, often not cleaned in years, and usually booked round a hire diary.
- Cafes and coffee shops
- A combi or a small range, a griddle and an extraction canopy. Done before opening or on the closed day.
- Pub kitchens
- Six burner range, salamander, fryers and a full canopy. This is where a per job quote matters, because no two are the same.
- Offices and staff kitchens
- Domestic appliances in a commercial setting. Where that is all there is, they come off the normal domestic list rather than the commercial one.
Where we come to
Village halls in particular tend to have a cooker nobody has ever had cleaned, and they are scattered right across this list.

What people say afterwards
Booked on the Tuesday, done on the Thursday. The door glass came up like new and the kitchen was tidier than when he arrived.
Placeholder name, Ely
Quoted over the phone and that was the price. No fuss, no upselling, and the oven stopped smoking the first time we used it.
Placeholder name, Soham
Took the door apart to do between the glass, which the last lot would not do. Worth it for that alone.

Questions people ask about commercial kitchens
How is a commercial kitchen priced?
It starts at £150, and above that it is per job rather than off a list. A village hall cooker and a pub kitchen with a six burner range, a salamander and a fryer are different days' work, so we quote from what is actually in the room rather than guessing from a category.
Can you work outside opening hours?
That is usually the only way it works. Kitchens get cleaned when they are cold and empty, so early mornings, close down, or a day the place is shut. Tell us your quietest slot and we work to it.
Is this the same as a commercial kitchen deep clean?
It is the part of one that covers the cooking equipment. A commercial kitchen deep clean usually means two jobs: the appliances, canopy and filters, which is what we do, and the ductwork behind them, which is a certificated trade of its own. Most kitchens that ask for a deep clean need the first far more often than the second, and we do it cold, empty and out of hours.
Do you do extraction ductwork?
No. Canopies, filters and the appliances themselves, yes. What runs behind them needs access equipment and a certificate we do not hold, so it goes to the trade that does, and your insurer will want that certificate from them rather than from us.
Will we get something for our records?
Yes. An invoice, and dated photographs of the appliances if you want them for the due diligence file. Environmental health look at the state of the equipment rather than at paperwork, but having the dates written down does no harm at an inspection.
Do you do village halls, schools and cafes as well as pubs?
Yes. Village halls, school kitchens, cafes and pubs across the same patch, each priced from what is actually in the kitchen rather than from the type of building. A hall with one domestic cooker is a very different job from a pub kitchen, and it is priced like one.
Do you charge more to work out of hours?
No. Working when the kitchen is closed is how commercial cleaning is done, so it is built into the price rather than added to it. Tell us your quietest slot, whether that is a closed day, early morning or after service, and the quote is the same.
