Every review here is left by somebody who paid for the work. We never offer money off in exchange for one, we do not chase, and we do not pick which ones get shown.

How we ask
Once, after the work is done and paid for, and never with an incentive attached. A review that was bought is worth nothing to the next person reading it, and it is against the rules of every platform worth being on.
If something was not right, we would rather hear it from you than read it later. Tell us and we will put it right where we can, which is written into our terms rather than left as a promise on a page.
What we would rather be judged on
The price being on the site at all. We read the published price lists of 11 oven cleaning businesses covering this patch on 12 September 2026, and three of them publish no price anywhere. Ours is £70 for a single oven, £85 for a double, no VAT, and the £65 minimum only applies to a visit with no oven in it.
Anybody can write a nice paragraph about themselves. Publishing the number you will actually be charged is harder to fake.
What on this site could go out of date, and when we check it
Most of this site is either our own prices or how we work, and neither goes stale without us knowing. A few sentences are different: they are readings we took on a particular day, and a reading from last autumn still reads as current unless somebody goes and looks again. These are all of them.

When one falls due we do one of three things: read the same sources and confirm it, read them and publish the new figure with the old one still showing, or take the sentence off the page. What we do not do is move the date without doing the reading, because from out here that looks identical.
